Services

Individual counseling sessions are offered for children, teens, college students, and adults. I provide a secure, HIPPA-compliant video platform. During the initial session, we will determine if I am a good fit for you as a therapist. We will discuss your goals, concerns, the reasons why you sought therapy services, and develop a treatment plan that best suits your needs. Typically, sessions begin one time weekly, progressing to every other week, and monthly with the goal being to help you use the tools outside the therapy sessions. When you have met your goals, we will talk about what it will look like when you no longer need therapy.

I am trained and experienced in a variety of psychotherapeutic approaches. I utilize several different therapies depending on the client’s individualized needs, as follows:

  • Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Solution Focused Brief Therapy

  • Mindfulness-based stress reduction

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Motivational interviewing

  • Relaxation techniques

  • Behavioral Therapy (BT)

  • Emotional Focused

My eclectic approach helps people restructure irrational thought processes as well as to learn the techniques to calm the mind and body. My work with children and teens includes behavioral modification, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, self-control, and confidence-building skills. As a parent of two adult children who have gone through the school system, I can offer guidance to help improve school success.

I understand reaching out to make the first call can be difficult. I look forward to helping you in an empathetic, safe environment where you will feel empowered.
